Two years of food, community, and giving
I developed the branding and creative materials for Big Bites for Big Minds across two annual fundraisers supporting Kingsley’s financial aid program. The selected materials here come from the 2021 virtual event.
Working with the advancement event team, I carried the identity from promotion into the at-home experience, including cooking instructions, recipe materials, packaging, and kitchen textiles.
The 2021 experience
A shared meal, even from home.
Chef Ken Oringer led the cooking experience, with guest mixologist Jamie Bissonnette and emcee Paul Currier. The creative work helped connect the online event with the materials arriving in participants’ kitchens.
An identity that worked beyond the invitation
Bold typography, kitchen-tool illustrations, and a consistent palette gave the event a recognizable presence across digital and print. Each piece needed to feel like part of the same experience and be useful while participants cooked at home.
My contribution was the creative direction and design, as part of the team that brought the fundraiser to life.
